Arti Gidwani is a ceramic artist based between Indonesia and Singapore, with roots in India. Her practice explores clay as a material of both tradition and intuition, shaped by the cultural landscapes she has lived in.

Influenced by the ceramic histories of India and Indonesia, she creates sculptural and functional works that are organic, tactile, and expressive.

Her work often engages with the human form in abstract ways, moving away from fixed representation to explore emotion, imperfection, and transformation. Working primarily with stoneware and terracotta, she continues to experiment with form, surface, and the possibilities of clay.
